🥩 Ingredients:

2 lbs. ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup marinara sauce

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F.

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Mix well and divide the meat mixture in half.
Press one half of the meat mixture into the bottom of a greased loaf pan.
Layer the mozzarella cheese over the meat, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges.

Pour marinara sauce over the cheese.
Place the other half of the meat mixture on top of the cheese and sauce, pressing down around the edges to seal.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
Let the meatloaf cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
